There are Three basic steps to create your own template. You will need to create three basic layers in Photoshop in order to create a vehicle wrap template to present to your customer. My detailed report will show you how to create them and how to get the most out of them!

First you will need to create the bottom layer to be the base photo or drawing of the vehicle.

Second you will need to create the graphic or middle layer.

Third you will need to create a top layer that is the outline of the vehicle. You may need to create an alpha channel to extract the outline layer from the base layer. These three layers make up your basic vehicle wrap template.

I know this sounds so simple, so why would you need my special report? Because it is the way these three layers are put together that makes all the difference. You will need to add several additional layers and masks that allow the three main layers to blend into that “something special”.

Creating the layers and adding the blending and masking layers described in this report has remained something of a mystery in the vehicle wrap business and the information has been hidden and protected as if it was a pot of gold by the very few companies who make very good money providing templates for the sign and vehicle wrap businesses.

There is a vehicle wrap template company that will sell you a set of pre-made photographic templates that can be used along with your version of Photoshop. However, the cost to get started with their system is about $1,000.00.  

“(Their Design System) can save you several hours of preparation on vehicle wraps. This innovative solution, for use with large format printing, is the only one of its kind (until now) and offers the most accurate templates available. The templates are actual vehicle photographs, not line drawings, and include proof able window perforations. An entry-level graphic designer with basic Adobe Photoshop skills can design a full wrap in about an hour using these design templates with Photoshop. Once you finish your design, simply flatten, rip and print!"

You will still need Photoshop with their system!

You can make the templates yourself but it is a bit time consuming. You will get a lot faster as you develop proficiency with our system. Their $999.00 product is a GREAT TOOL for some vehicle wrap templates, but, it is limited by the number of vehicles in the collection. All in all it is a timesaver especially for the customer who needs to see something fast.

Sure, they sell the idea that their products are convenient and will save you one or two hours of time in the design process, but at what financial cost? You will need to spend $900.00, to $1,000.00, for two or three hundred templates, most, that you may or may not ever use? When I first saw their product demonstration at the ISA show in Las Vegas, I thought "What a great idea", until I found out that the $900.00 price tag was just the begining. You still had to create or buy your own "Fills" and graphic designs. How about the additional outlay for “Bolt-Ons” * , the additional upgrades that cost $199.00 to $300.00 per issue?

Why pay so much when you can create your own templates using the exact same process they use to create their templates? Their templates basically consist of four or five Photoshop layers with the masks and blending modes applied. If you're swift with Photoshop (and you will be after studying my report and viewing my computer based training) you can do it yourself in about 30 minutes with a picture of the vehicle you’re working with.  (NOTE: You can spend over $1,000.00 for a system that will still take some time to learn or you can spend some time learning our process and save yourself about a thousand Bucks!  You should be fairly proficient with our system after about 10 hours of actual practice.)
